Roasted Broccoli & Garlic

Growing up, I loved broccoli, plain boiled and smothered with gravy. With age, however, I love it even more, with the help of this simple roasted broccoli & garlic recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 300 g Broccoli Cut into Florets
  • 3 Garlic Cloves Peeled and Thinly Sliced
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt / Pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C or 180C Fan or 400F or Gas 6
  2. In a bowl, mix the broccoli with the oil and garlic. Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
  3. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and lay the broccoli in a thin layer.
  4. Roast for 10 minutes, then turn over. Roast for a further 10 minutes.
  5. Serve hot.
